DESCRIPTION:Advanced Course: Crisis\, Recovery and Transitions  13 - 19 October 2013  Venue: Tsinghua University\, Beijing\, China The Humanitarian Policy Group (HPG) at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI)\, and the School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University are pleased to offer the second ‘Advanced Course on Crisis\, Recovery and Transitions’\, a weeklong programme targeting mid-career and senior professionals.The past decade has seen a sharp increase in the number of countries affected by and recovering from large-scale disasters\, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. A parallel growth has also occurred in the number of professionals working in the fields of humanitarian assistance\, post-crisis recovery and development.
