he newly elected council of EUROPARC held its first meeting in the headquarters in Regensburg, Germany (28-30 January).
While the snow was covering Regensburg with a peaceful white blanket, the Council members were welcomed by the enthusiastic staff of the directorate, and got a better insight into how the Federation is organized and managed.
An extensive agenda and crucial decisions have been discussed during these 3 days at the EUROPARC Federation.
During the course of the council meeting, the first important steps were taken to strengthen our network and membership.
The key priority of the council was to design jointly, the council, directorate and sections working together, the structure, the future relations of the sections and how will we incorporate this in our constituency.
The next council meeting will kindly be hosted by Cinque Terre National park (IT), through its President and EUROPARC council member, Vittorio Alessandro, in June.
