Joint Call for More Resources for Africa [Source: World Bank ]
The World Bank, African Development Bank and the European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid have called for more resources for Africa. The EC Commissioner, Louis Michel, President of the African Development Bank Donald Kaberuka and World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz made the call after talks during the Bank/IMFs Spring Meetings. Wolfowitz says the call underlines the key message of the weekend meetings that Africa is a turning point for world economic development.
