Winning projects are showcased as examples of sustainable energy excellence. They are set to inspire other energy actors throughout Europe and beyond to follow suit. The five overall winners will be announced during the prestigious SEE Awards Ceremony in the presence of the EU Commissioner for Energy, Günther H. Oettinger. The ceremony, taking place in Brussels (BE) on 19 June 2012, is a highlight of the EU Sustainable Energy Week. Every year hundreds of organisations take part in the EU Sustainable Energy Week, the reference event for energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in Europe.
